He was There

Hi all!

I have limited time today to write you all. I want to use the time I have to share with you my testimony of the Living Christ. It is unspeakable how indebted I am to my brother, Jesus Christ. He was full of so much love for each and every one of us, individually, that he payed for each mistake, each wrongdoing, that we have or will make in our lives. I cannot fathom the pains and agony that he must have gone through as he suffered for my sins in the Garden of Gethsemane, suffering the pains and sorrows of each of us, making Him uniquely qualified to sympathize with us throughout all our burdens no matter how alone you feel. He has carried the weight of our burdens, and as such can help us carry ours.
His pain and suffering not ending in Gethsemane, but continuing as He was beaten, tortured and mocked, He carried His own cross to the mount, where he was crucified for our sins. Nails driven through His hands and feet, and a spear driven in His side. With His death on the cross at Calvary, and His glorious resurrection, He paid the eternal price for my spiritual and physical death. Because of Him, I can return to my loving Heavenly Father, to the God who gave me life, live with my family for all time, and, even as Christ did, rejoin my physical body and be resurrected.
I have been told numerous times on my mission that I "don't believe in Christ". It makes me sad to here them say that. My testimony of Christ is one that I rely on every single day. I cannot go one day without needing my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. I have the privilege and Honour of wearing his name on my heart everyday, and paying back what miniscule amount I can to His ultimate and eternal sacrifice.
Christ is my Lord. He has done what no other being can for the salvation of all of God's sons and daughters.
This Easter is an incredibly special time as we recollect His sacrifice for us. I find it especially important to remember that He isn't gone. He didn't leave us when He died on the cross. He is still there to help us, every day. He lives. I bare my testimony and knowledge that Jesus is the Living Christ. The Saviour of the world.

Remember him this Easter. He is #Alwaysthere.
