Devious Devices

So, this last week we decided to go on an adventure!

Having been "born" in Southport and constantly taking public transportation, it was quite the switch to go to a car area. I learned a lesson this past Friday about the gift of a car. I, for some odd reason, wanted to be nostalgic, so we decided to ride the bus on Friday. We left the flat to travel to Llangefni. We missed our first bus, but luckily it wasn't too long until the next bus. We hopped on, and boy, I felt like I was back in Southport! At one point, the bus goes through Menai Bridge, and it's like Harry Potter. Honestly, the bus goes super skinny to fit through (of course muggle eyes can't see it). We had only an inch or so on each side.

We got to Llangefni, and it was a bit rainy, so out came the umbrellas. We spent all afternoon there, and decided to head back. As we were walking, we saw the bus we needed turn and go down the road ahead of us. We had enough time for the next bus, so decided to wait for that. What we didn't realise, was that next bus decided not to come! (buses are very unreliable here, and I now know first hand that it's true.) After about an hour and a half of waiting at the stop, a bus finally showed up!

With water dripping through my umbrella and onto me, we headed home. It's always fun when buses don't show up. Now I understand why we have a car in this area.

Also, to explain the title: Today, we noticed that nearly all our apps got deleted from our devices! Apparently this has happened throughout the whole mission! So, now we're a technology mission, with rebelling technology 😂 Hopefully we'll get our apps back soon! (One of them that was deleted was our Areabook Planner! There goes our daily plans, people we are teaching and member records! haha... Ha... Ha... 🤤)

We are also preparing for Cameron's baptism this Saturday! He is doing really well and looking forward to his baptism! He said a prayer during gospel principles on Sunday and it was beautiful! Honestly, I've learned a lot about sincere prayer by those that I've taught. It is a wonderful gift!

Love you all! Hope you all have a wonderful week!
