Transfers: Like father like Son
Transfers are this week! This transfer has been crazy and I have learned so much. Starting with Elder Larson and then being thrown into training during the transfer made it an interesting journey.
I thoroughly enjoyed being able to train Elder Payne. I learned a lot from him, and I learned a lot about myself as I viewed myself from the eyes of another person. I think it helped me to better see the areas I personally need to improve on. I know being able to train has helped me and will help me on my mission.
With transfers always brings mixed emotions. It will be a challenge saying goodbye to Elder Payne and Gaerwen. I've grown to love this area immensely and I will miss it. However, I do look forward to being able to serve with Elder Rice in Telford.
Gaerwen will be left in good hands. I say that because Elder Payne will be training a new missionary! The family line is extending
This last week was especially amazing as we were able to participate in Cameron's baptism and confirmation. Cameron asked me to baptize him and Elder Payne to confirm him. It was wonderful to be able to see him make this big step and change in his life! It was sad, however, because there were very few people at his baptism. Only nine people were able to attend the baptism including Cameron, Elder Payne, and I. Although, I think that Cameron didn't mind the small group. The ordinance is the same whether there's four people there or four hundred. The reason that there wasn't a lot of people was that there was a youth camp and it was a Bank Holiday weekend.
But overall it was a great weekend for Cameron and us!
Love you all! Have a great week!
