Crazy week!

My days, it feels like this last week started forever ago! It has been very crazy. As was mentioned last week, we had transfers. It was sad to say goodbye to Gaerwen and the people I had met there. But I looked forward to meeting the people here. I almost didn't make it, however. It was decided that Elder Payne would drive the car on transfer day, so he could get some experience before picking up his trainee. Boy, it was a flashback to my first day driving!! While I may have nearly given up the ghost a few times, we made it in one piece! Nah, Elder Payne actually did a good job... Probably better than me my first day, of course I would never say such a thing like that.

This first week here has pretty much blown over me. I've met so many new people and trying to learn their names and where they live, and how to get there, etc has been super difficult. I know it takes time, but I just want to have it down already! Haha, there is a joy in the journey though.

On Saturday, we were able to meet with a man named Paul. He was reading in Alma and we were able to read through and answer some questions he had. The scripture was on repentance and how it brings us closer to Christ and frees us from Satan. As we talked, there were silences where we could tell he was thinking deeply. After a bit, Paul told us he needs to make changes, and that he could start with coming to church. Lo and behold this last Sunday, he came to church!! Woot!

We are also doing a challenge that's been issued throughout the Europe area. It's called the Book of Mormon 21-day Challenge. Each day has a scripture block from the Book of Mormon, a quote from a modern prophet/apostle, and a question for the day. Even though the challenge is for the European area, I would invite every one of you to take the challenge yourself!

Draw closer to Christ in 21 days!

I love you all! The church is true and I know that. Hope you all have a good week!
