Happy Christmas!!!
Hello everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas time!
Christmas has always been my favourite time of year, and on a mission, it is still my favourite! I was able to be a part of the ward choir, which I thoroughly enjoyed. In that we sang three songs (Under Bethlehem Stars, Angels We Have Heard on High, Soft and Pure), and then I also sung in a quartet a rendition of "In the Bleak Midwinter". It was a beautiful piece and one of the more technical of the selections. It reminded me a lot of the small quartets that we'd do in Madrigals.
We've been doing a lot of finding lately. This last Monday, Christmas Eve, we are contacting in town centre and we found Gem, who was a recent convert in London. She has been looking for the church, but didn't know where to find it... well, I think a missionary is a good way to find out! Hopefully we'll see her on Sunday!
We've spent a lot of time with members this Christmas and it's been a good time. I really enjoyed calling home! Definitely the highlight of the week!!
As I've contemplated Christmas, two mation questions came into my mind:
1) What did you give for Christmas? And
2) How did you remember Christ?
I think both of these questions really emphasise the importance and the true spirit of Christmas.
Remember Jesus Christ. Give as he gave. He is the reason for the season.
Love you all!
