Let's try something a little different 🤪

Dear friends and family,

I decided to do things a little differently this time around but realised it was a bad idea  I will write a normal letter, but if you wish to see the former version, I have provided it for you 

So, this week was crazy busy!!! We have been in a constant state of tired! It started off on Tuesday, when we had District Councils. It was a bit stressful as it was my first time conducting the meeting and organising it. It wasn't perfect, but it was still good. Elder Heaton gave a training that was golden . 

After District Councils we went straight into Exchanges! I was with Elder Cannon again and it was really good! I love working with him. Throughout the exchange I got some really good advice on how to be a district leader. It's really all about service, just like any calling or assignment in the church. On exchanges we found two people!! Whoop! We found one while tracting a busy, main street. Even the bishop was surprised we found one there. It just goes to show that God prepares people everywhere!

The next day was a District/Zone Leader Training Meeting in Manchester. It was SOOO helpful! We covered loads of material and by the end of the 7.5 hour meeting, my brain was fried. I was trying to be frugal with notes and only take what I thought would be necessary, yet I still ended up with pages!! I slept well that night.

Elder Heaton and I have been burning our fuel here! Every hour we have been working and searching and teaching. Yeah, we've been in a continual state of tired! Despite this large effort, it's been very difficult to find people to teach! It took it's toll. We saw it as a trial of faith; God proving us and asking if we would still put in the work despite not seeing immediate fruits. 

On Saturday night, we were trying by some people who had previously been taught. We dropped by this one house, and a man opened the door. He was not the one we had been looking for, but a good conversation ensued from this. After a few minutes on his doorstep he invited us in for a glass of orange juice! We had a wonderful conversation about Jesus Christ and eternal families, and will be seeing him again!

Missionary work is amazing! We've been dead tired, but it is so worth it! I can testify of the promise the Lord gave that our joy will be great as we bring souls to God. This soul can be your own. Please involve yourself in missionary work! Introduce yourself to the missionaries and offer your assistance or invite a friend to meet with them (Hint: Family Home Evening, ward activities, and/or food is a great way to introduce them without being overbearing). If you aren't a member of the church, please visit Mormon.org and request a visit from the missionaries. You won't regret it!

I know that God knows and loves each of His children (and guess what... you are his child!) He knows YOU, and He loves YOU! I know the restoration of Christ's gospel, in its fullness, is a manifestation of God's love for us. Christ's true and living church is on the Earth, led by a prophet and apostles, under he guidance of Jesus Christ himself. That church is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
