I met my grandson!

Flat find gift exchange! I got the best one!
Hello all!

This week concluded the most busy transfer I have ever had! Every week we had some sort of exchange or companion swap, and quite a few miracles! This last Wednesday began exchanges with Elder Carroll, my mission dad. He and I have gone through so much. He's been in 3 of my 4 districts, and have been on exchanges in all three of those areas. It was fun to catch up and reflect on the mission. He has less than 80 left!! It flies by!

Now, let's move to Saturday night. We had an amazing tea appointment with some members, and the musical instruments came out! The only one I knew how to play was the recorder, so with that we had an impromptu musical night. The night took a turn, however, because as we were getting ready to leave we got a call from President McReynolds! I answered and was very pleased when he asked to speak with Elder Heaton, of whom he called to be a trainer!

I am so happy for him, but it also brought the sad news that I would be leaving Burnley. I'll be completely honest, I don't want to leave. I love it here! The ward is like family and I would call it my "heaven area". But, alas, the Lord requires me in Rochdale, so I will be heading there with Elder Mbuli. (Stay tuned for more to come!)

So, today has been full of packing and saying goodbyes. I will miss it here.

On Sunday night, Elder Heaton had a meeting for Training. While he was in that, I was working in Manchester with Elder Lange! He is my mission-Grandson! He's from Germany and is really great!

Now, I wish to tell you about a miracle we had yesterday! So, the last full proselyting day of the transfer is what what we call "Miracle Monday". In short, we unite as a mission to accomplish different goals/objectives, and expect miracles! Well, we received one!

As we were doing our work, we received a call from some sisters at the Salt Lake City, Temple Square Mission. They had been talking with a woman who used to be a member of the church, and is wanting to come back again! She was scared to request a visit, but knew she needed to. And the great thing is, where we were working was only a few minutes from her home!

We immediately went there and had an amazing lesson with her, and she is so excited to come back to church and be back home ðŸ˜€

I am excited for this upcoming transfer. I'm sure it will bring many more miracles. I'm grateful to be the Lord's servant and share the gospel to the people here in England. What I'm doing here is the most important thing that I could do. It is very meaningful and while it requires a lot of sacrifice, it's worth it!

I love you all and hope you have a great week!
