Exchanges!
Hello all!
The main highlight of this week would be exchanges! We were in Middleton with Elder Carlson and Elder Remley (I was companions with Elder Remley). At one point in the day, we had a lesson with a returning member, and he shared with us his conversion story, which is amazing. It showed just how the gospel can help people no matter how far off the path they are. At one point we talked about receiving answers to prayer and the necessity of having a "sincere heart and real intent" (see Moroni 10:3-5, Book of Mormon). He share how the first time he prayed he didn't recieve any answer. However, he realised that he was just doing it to please the missionaries, but it wasn't his own interest. At a later time, he said that sincere prayer and received his answer.
One thing that I have really learned here is the power of sincere prayer. I sometimes found myself saying my prayers as if I was leaving God a voicemail. I've realised since that in all actuality, it should be a phone call: two-way. We talk with God and He talks to us. How do we expect to receive an answer unless we give time to talk and listen for His answer? He wants to speak with us and answers will come.
So, on our way back from the lesson I quickly discovered... My bus pass was gone!! So, we retraced our steps, went back to where we had our lesson, but to no avail
The bus station was closed, so we had to walk all the way back home! The next day I had to buy another pass

So, that was fun! As for this Sunday, the amount of Tea Appointments has increased, so I'm really excited! We also have a really busy week in-line. Two exchanges and several lessons! I'm pumped!
I feel like I'm missing something, but... 🤷♂️
This is my report! I love you all, and hope your week is fantabulous!
