Bring in the Water!
Hello all!
Well, this transfer is going to be packed! We kicked it off last Wednesday with a baptismal interview, and he passed! So, the rest of the week has been packed with planning! His baptism will be this Saturday, the 14th, and I am so excited!
On Saturday we went with him to a baptism in Manchester. And wow. It was a very special baptism. So, one of the sister missionaries was able to teach her friend from home via Skype. The friend had a long journey to baptism, and made a pit-stop in Manchester while on her way to Germany. So, it was very special to see these best of friends, joined together and the friend made her first steps towards returning to our Father in Heaven.
The Spirit during that meeting was incredibly strong. I have only felt like that in the Temple of God. At one point, I even forgot that we were in a chapel, and for a short moment it felt like we were in the Temple itself. It was an incredible moment.
So this next week we have the baptism on Saturday and Zone Conference Thursday. Then next week is Freshers Week!! In other words, all the new University student will be orienting themselves to Manchester, so we've been asked to help in the city centre with finding students and inviting them to the YSA ward. We're pretty excited! However, because of that, I believe P-day will be moved to Tuesday next week. So please don't freak out if I don't send anything Monday.
So we're busy, busy, busy! And I'm loving it!
I am so grateful for the Spirit and His guiding influence in my life. He has helped me so much and has been a great comfort to me. I'm grateful to have received the gift of the Holy Ghost and the promise that he can always be with me as am willing to take upon myself the name of Christ and keep His commandments. He is the Comforter. He is the Teacher. He is the ultimate Witness of truth.
I love you all!
See miracles. Be miracles.
